Waitrose Community Matters
Waitrose supports good causes through their Waitrose Community Matters scheme.
Each month every Waitrose branch donate 1000 pounds(500 pounds in Convenience shops) between three local good causes that you choose. Charities cannot apply to be selected themselves as the charities are selected from good causes suggested by the people using the store. We encourage our branch supporters to go into the Weston Super Mare store, pick up a leaflet and recommend the Weston Super Mare & District Branch of Cats Protection. If we get enough recommendations then we could be chosen!! When you shop in the store you’ll receive a token at the checkout. Just place it in a box of the good cause you’d most like to support. The more tokens a cause gets, the bigger the donation they receive.
ASDA Community Life
ASDA's Community Life programme was created to help make our local communities better places to live and work for their staff and customers. Check out the Community Life noticeboard next time you’re in Asda to see what they are up to and find out how you can get involved or visit your local store page to nominate a cause that you’d like to see us support in your local community.
To recommend the Weston Super Mare & District branch then click on any of all of the three store links below, select the ‘You choose’ icon and complete the short form.
We

Stray Cats

Here in the local branch we receive 6-8 calls every week from people concerned that they have found a stray cat.....
Early Neutering
At Cats Protection, we are very aware that cats are often neutered too late in life when they have already produced at least one litter of kittens.
