What we do

At Weston Super Mare & District Cats Protection the welfare of cats & kittens is our first priority. Every cat & kitten needs a loving home, where they can feel safe and secure, knowing they will always be fed and cared for.

Our aim is to reduce the number of strays and unwanted cats & kittens, by rehabilitating and rehoming them. Fosterers care for the cats and kittens until they are ready for a new home.

We encourage the neutering of all cats & kittens & all out cats & kittens are micro chipped & vaccinated before rehoming.

We may be able to help with the cost of neutering your cat if you are on state benefits and occasionally have assisted neutering campaigns during the course of the year.

We have a small, but dedicated, number of fosterers & a fantastic team of fundraisers who support our various activities. We have two telephone lines which are run by volunteers; they are not available 24 hours a day, so please leave a message and we will contact you as soon as we can. Please bear in mind we are all volunteers and most of us have full time jobs as well
